Here is how I get the smallest pieces out of the cutters, leaving the cleanest edges ? Don't use them like you would normally use a fondant cutter. Instead flip it upside down and push the fondant all the way through. A painting brush with hard bristles is used in this case to get into the smallest crevices. Any marks left from the brush on the fondant are not really relevant because they will be on the back side?
